Google Workspace Series: Docs In-Person
Enhance your document creation skills with our Google Docs workshop. In this session, we will start with the basics of creating, editing, and formatting documents. You will learn how to use styles, headings, and templates to create professional-looking documents with ease.
The workshop will also cover Google Docs’ powerful collaborative features. Discover how to share documents with others, control permissions, and collaborate in real-time. We will demonstrate how to track changes, add comments, and use the built-in chat function to communicate with your collaborators.
To round out the session, we will explore some advanced features that can make your work even more efficient. Learn how to use voice typing, integrate Google Docs with other Google Workspace applications, and leverage add-ons to extend the functionality of your documents. You will be well-equipped to create and manage documents like a pro.
Participants should already have a Google account. A limited number of library laptops are available for use, but participants are encouraged to bring their own if able.
